My friend and consulting cycling physician, Dr. Sharon Amaya. She may not have "done it all" yet, but she and her husband Greg are damn close! This young doctor has been a huge inspiration to me. Thanks for everything, Dr. Amaya!

Me, on the Silver Comet Trail, training for my 800 mile cross country solo bicycle ride for the animals, and "Spay, Neuter and Adopt". Called "The Ride For Wet Noses".

Visiting my local shelter just before the ride. That little Dachshund was ultimately adopted after we appeared in a local newspaper.

I have many international friends. Here is Helga, who along with her husband Luke supported me and the ride all the way from Australia. I was fortunate to have met them in person just before the Ride for Wet Noses began.

Two more of my bestest friends in the world, whom I have never met, but who have stood by me through thick and thin during the last several years.

They are Bill Dalziel(pronounced Bill DL) of Glasgow, Scotland and Becky Purkiss of Fresno, California.
Bill and Becks were involved in the last bicycle ride I did for the animals (C2CR2C), and were the reasons for its success. Bill not only designed the web page, but also did the public relations for us. Becky kept my spirits up and also made sure we had a roof over our heads on the tour. If it hadn't been for both of them the ride wouldn't have happened at all. Bill also co-edits this blog with me. Thanks and much love to both of you! (You're welcome Bill ~ the "co-editor from Scotland and other Bill ;-)
