Brain Games

My AD counsellor, Suzette (U rock, GF!) sent me this list of "brain games" you too can play even if you're not sick in da head! I play the raindrops game on lumosity, and it's fun.

Some guy has found a way to get rich off Alzheimer's and he sells this interactive computer with a touch-screen that connects to the internet and one can play cognitive memory games on it.

IF one can afford it, that is.

The price for the console with screen is $2300.00 and then there's a $19.95 monthly subscription fee.

In his clever internet pitch, he states that he decided to form his company after watching his father suffer with AD for 13 years.

Obekaybe, but most of us just cannot afford your set-up, Mr. Michel, so I guess we're SOL, huh?

Here's the website, if you'd like to take a look: http://www.dakim.com/.

If you see something I'm missing, please let me know, but for right now, Bill's "jury" says "HUCKSTER!".

Remember to click to vote and feed, please, and remember, your cookies will have stored "Paulding Humane, Inc.", so all you'll need to do is click to vote and then confirm on the next screen. Only 23 more days and Paulding is in 12th place in the State. Please help and pass it along.

Happy Fourth of July, America! Choose! I like Jimi's version, but that's just because I'm a tradionalist (old)!

Thanks

Der Andere Bill,

Happy 4th to you too. Hope you are having a bash with family and friends and are feeling well today.

I vote for the south paw, Jimmy, although I enjoyed both. Thanks for posting them.

Take care of both you and yours as best you can. And remember to keep smiling.

It's me again, Der Andere Bill,

I've just been playing some of the brain games. Very time consuming but fun, and makes me realize that I'm not as bad as I thought, except when the math ones got to going faster and I couldn't count on my fingers fast enough. hee hee

You should post them on the alz forum. I haven't seen you posting there lately.

Hope you've had a great day,

Fräulein, Becky

Becky,

Individually, yeah, those games make you think that, but OVERALL (in the course of a day), I don't think that's the case, is it?

Not with me anyway.

This week I left the switch in the car on, and ran down the battery and threw my wife's medicines into the trash (thinking the bag they were in was part of the garbage)!

THOSE were what I call "sentinel events" or a "Cluster-Eff".

The Atlanta Rhythm Section gave a free show last night and a good time was had by all. The fireworks, as usual were very impressive.

I will remember to "schmeil"!

Thanks

Bill

Thanks for the Jimi video. Wow, what a guy. Loved his clothes too! Musics greatest loss. Seeing his stuff at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland was the highpoint of my trip to Ohio last fall. Wish I could have seen him live.
